Jonathan Pincus is President of the Rajawali Foundation, an Indonesian philanthropic organization established in 2010. The Rajawali Foundation supports research and training relating to public policy and also maintains an active portfolio of community development programs. Pincus was formerly Dean of the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, a joint initiative of the Harvard Kennedy School Vietnam Program and the Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City. His previous positions also include a term as chief economist for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Viet Nam and a number of years teaching development economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He has worked for various international development agencies on issues ranging from agricultural policy to macroeconomics. Originally from the United States, he holds masters and doctoral degrees in economics from Cambridge University (UK).
