When Maritime Remains A Dream

The objective of President Jokowi of wanting to make Indonesia the world’s maritime axis still holds a million question of whether it can become a reality or it is merely a dream. The fact that Indonesia has a total sea territory of 5,8 million km2 with the second longest coast line in the world does not automatically mean the Indonesian people can reap its abundant rewards.

The facts in this infographic can at least answer the question to some extent and show that there are still many things to be done by the government in order to improve the chaotic maritime situation in Indonesia.
